Winter footpaths in the immediate surroundings

• Mitterolang – Niederolang: über Mühlbach; walking time 40 min.
• Mitterolang – Vopichl – Gassl – Geiselsberg; walking time 11/2 hours
• Oberolang – Gassl – Geiselsberg; walking time 11/2 hours
• Niederolang – Mühlbach – Gassl – Geiselsberg; walking time 1 hour

 

Winter hikes and trails

• Hiking trail round the water reservoir of Olang
  Starting point: Churchyard of Oberolang -  take the road in direction of the water reservoir till the barrage, then take the footpath on the right which leads you to the hotel Gasthof Seehof – it is possible to hike further until the village of Welsberg/Monguelfo.
• Hiking trail from Niederolang to Reischach or Bruneck“
  Starting point: Church of Niederolang – trail no. 15 ( road ) – Riedlerhöfe (farmhouses) – Castle Lamprechtsburg – return by bus or train.
  Starting point: Niederolang Café Pfarrbäck – construction company Kofler & Strabit – trail no. 18 – walk anlong the right river bank of the Rienz until you reach Bruneck (partly asphalt road)
• Hiking trail from Mitterolang to Bad Bergfall
  Mitterolang – Vopichl – Peststöckl – Gassl – on trail no. 32 until Bad Bergfall
• Hiking tail to the inn „Gasthof Salla“
  Starting point: Churchyard Oberolang – Trail no. 39 leads directly to Gasthof Salla
• Mitterolang - Niederolang
  Via Mühlbach, walking time 40 min.
• Mitterolang – Vopichl – Gassl – Geiselsberg, walking time 1 1/2 hours
• Oberolang – Gassl – Geiselsberg, walking time 1 hour
• Mitterolang – Spitzes Stöckel ( Peststöckel ) – Niederolang – return via Peststöckel along the field path to Oberolang; walking time 1 hour
• Mitterolang – Spitzes Stöckl – Vopichl – Toboggan run – Café Panorama – Oberolang – Mitterolang; walking time 11/2 hours
• Mitterolang – Oberolang – cross the rivulet Brunstbach at the house  „Pörnbacher“  – Achmühle – Antoniusstöckl – Windschnur – Gasthof Dolomiten  - at the junction take the direction to Mitterolang, walking time 11/2 hours
• Mitterolang – Niederolang – Neunhäusern – Gasthof Dolomiten – Windschnur – Achmühle – Oberolang; walking time 11/2 hours
